The profound impact of music on our body and brains 🎶

You know that song that you could put on right now that will instantly flip a switch for you to get you into that feeling you desire?

Here's for giving me a boost and moving around.

Here's for pumping in the car and a Henry and Hawk favorite.

Music plays a big part in many of our lives. You likely remember some key moments in your life with a soundtrack. My connection to music and dancing is what I wrote about it in one of my first shares. And what I've been able to learn over the last few years is that music can impact our health in some profound ways backed by science.

  1. Music provides social and emotional connectedness.1

  2. Music can improve our memory.2

  3. Music can combat anxiety3 and depression4.

  4. Music gives us more access to our physiological health.5

  5. Music can regulate our mood and neurotransmitters to fight stress and mental illness.6

Are you ready to get your groove on?!

Watch this video for how music affects our brains from all angles. 📺
