SFH #55: My ‘Super’ List

I do these regularly to realize my greatest health 🔥

I made this list for the first time last summer and shared it with the group I was coaching. As I continue to up-level, I focus on being as consistent as possible with these daily rituals. If I hit 70%, I feel fantastic. Above 90%, and I'm riding transcendent waves. 🌊

Surfs Up! 🏄🏼‍♂️

  1. Eat at least one salad (mostly greens with EVOO, salt, and pepper). 🥗

  2. Drink at least half my body weight in ounces of water. 💧

  3. Have a cup of green tea (a homemade 'bulletproof' coffee on occasion to mix it up). 🍵

  4. Give thanks to myself and others verbally out loud. 🙏

  5. Provide self-love. Speak kindly to myself through journaling or reflecting to another person verbally. ✍️

  6. Slow down and breathe deeply and fluidly at least twice a day (3-5 mins works well) 🫁

  7. Create 'eustress' through resistance exercise - lifting weights or body weight.💪

  8. Meditate with some stillness and silence (moving meditation works too) 🧘🏼‍♂️

  9. Go to bed consistently at the same time. 🛌

  10. Read a little each day. 📖

  11. Create something new a little each day. 🎨

  12. Take a cold shower in the morning for at least 2 minutes. 🧊

  13. Brush my teeth left-handed. 🪥

  14. Eat fibrous foods at every meal whenever possible. 🥬

  15. Stick to 'real foods' - just one ingredient. 🍎

  16. Eat natural protein (at least two fists full a day is ideal) from regenerative agricultural practices. 🐟

  17. Be kind to others - engage and show compassion. ❤️

  18. Explore my vulnerabilities and blind spots - let myself get uncomfortable and practice opening to it. 😤

  19. Remind myself in some way every day that this life will end. ☠️

  20. Align my intentions and thoughts for the actionable outcomes I desire. 🔁

  21. Focus on people more than material things and my devices. 🤝

  22. Ask for help from others. 🙋‍♂️

  23. Provide help to others. 🤲

  24. Commune with nature every day - at least 15 minutes. 🌳

  25. Use saltwater (drink it in my water, bath in Epsom salt, or get in the ocean if possible). 🧂

  26. Fully express my feelings in a safe manner/container - cry, get angry, and speak my truth. 🗣
