I made this list for the first time last summer and shared it with the group I was coaching. As I continue to up-level, I focus on being as consistent as possible with these daily rituals. If I hit 70%, I feel fantastic. Above 90%, and I'm riding transcendent waves. 🌊
Surfs Up! 🏄🏼♂️
Eat at least one salad (mostly greens with EVOO, salt, and pepper). 🥗
Drink at least half my body weight in ounces of water. 💧
Have a cup of green tea (a homemade 'bulletproof' coffee on occasion to mix it up). 🍵
Give thanks to myself and others verbally out loud. 🙏
Provide self-love. Speak kindly to myself through journaling or reflecting to another person verbally. ✍️
Slow down and breathe deeply and fluidly at least twice a day (3-5 mins works well) 🫁
Create 'eustress' through resistance exercise - lifting weights or body weight.💪
Meditate with some stillness and silence (moving meditation works too) 🧘🏼♂️
Go to bed consistently at the same time. 🛌
Read a little each day. 📖
Create something new a little each day. 🎨
Take a cold shower in the morning for at least 2 minutes. 🧊
Brush my teeth left-handed. 🪥
Eat fibrous foods at every meal whenever possible. 🥬
Stick to 'real foods' - just one ingredient. 🍎
Eat natural protein (at least two fists full a day is ideal) from regenerative agricultural practices. 🐟
Be kind to others - engage and show compassion. ❤️
Explore my vulnerabilities and blind spots - let myself get uncomfortable and practice opening to it. 😤
Remind myself in some way every day that this life will end. ☠️
Align my intentions and thoughts for the actionable outcomes I desire. 🔁
Focus on people more than material things and my devices. 🤝
Ask for help from others. 🙋♂️
Provide help to others. 🤲
Commune with nature every day - at least 15 minutes. 🌳
Use saltwater (drink it in my water, bath in Epsom salt, or get in the ocean if possible). 🧂
Fully express my feelings in a safe manner/container - cry, get angry, and speak my truth. 🗣
